The American Giants were one of the most legendary and successful teams in the Negro Leagues, dominating baseball with a run of 7 Negro National League titles in 13 years including 2 Negro World Series victories. Playing in one of the biggest stadiums, the team was built around pitching, defense and speed. Ultimately, the dynasty ended when the team moved to Comiskey Park after South Side Park was converted into a horse racing track.
